I have a property and need a roommate.

Hi! We are looking for a female grad student (PhD, MD, PharmD, etc..) to take over one of the rooms in our 4br/4bth home. The 3 of us currently living here are PhD students (1 25yr. old male Biostatistics, 1 26yr old male Economics, and 1 25yr old female Public Policy). We are very clean and respectful of other people's spaces and are seeking the same in our future roommate. The house is located in Carrboro (cool grad scene), was built in 2007 so brand new energy efficient appliances, and is a quick walk to 2 bus stops (CW and F) which lead to anywhere you want to go on campus and more: School of Public Health, Med School, anywhere really. It's about a 15 minute bike ride to campus. The house is located in a quiet, safe, serene neighborhood. Someone could move in as early as the middle of May but the new lease starts on August 1, 2017 Rent is 525/month (utilities/internet combined about 50 bucks) so a total of 575/month for everything. We have always had 2 girls and 2 guys living in the house and think it is a nice balance :) Here are some pics: https://picasaweb.google.com/105428287589315733985/House?authuser=0&authkey=Gv1sRgCO_q56rH2pn9Cw&feat=directlink We love to hang out from time to time when we can and enjoy things like Game of Thrones, Silicon Valley, The Wire, cooking out, going to movies, or just chilling over dinner. We are neat people and look forward to getting to know you if you are interested in our lovely home! If interested, reply to this message or contact dallmon@email.unc.edu for more info. Cheers!! I have a property and need a roommate.

I am looking for a subletter from June 18th to July 31st for my room in Carrboro. The house is a 6 bedroom, 3.5 bath, located just down the street from Weaver Street and downtown Carrboro. The J, CW, F, and N bus lines are all within walking distance. All other roommates are current graduate students or recent grads from UNC, and one very friendly and well-trained dog! The room is large with a walk in closet and lots of natural light. Shared bathroom with one other female graduate student on the same floor. The house has a fully furnished living room and kitchen, and a washer and dryer. Two other students in this house are also looking for subletters for the same time period, so if you have friends you'd like to live with, that's possible too! Front and back porches, with plenty of parking. Rent is $500/month. Feel free to contact me with any questions!

I need a roommate to find a property.

Hi, My name is Liana Gheorma. I'm a 1st year PhD student in Psychology. I am looking for a roommate, preferably a female graduate or professional student who is also quiet, busy, not a smoker (I have bad allergies), and thoughtful (i.e. not blasting loud music at 10pm on a Monday night). I am 24 years old (turning 25 in June) and I am originally from Romania (but I am a very Americanized Romanian). I have lived in California for 11 years (mostly Southern California, but I went to undergrad in Northern California). I moved to Chapel Hill last summer to start my program. I am an ambivert (I have my moments of being extroverted and talkative, but I also need my peace and quiet). I work a lot (some weeks, up to 15 hours a day), so generally, during the week, I spend my evenings either working some more or reading or watching netflix (always with headphones). During the weekends, either I go out exploring, or stay in and do quiet and calm activities like reading, or watching netflix. My general bed time is 10-11:30pm and I tend to wake up 8am-9:30am. I have a couch, dinning table, chairs and coffee table to add to the living room so I could help with furnishing the place (i.e. you don't have to worry about paying for living room furniture). I also have a tiny hamster (she hangs out in her plastic container which has a lid and it's escape proof). Her name is Professor Hermione. She's a sweetie and doesn't bite. I ideally, I would be looking for a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment in late June/ early July in either Carrboro or Chapel Hill. The ideal rent rage for the whole apartment would be $700-$1000 (i.e. $350-$500 per person). Let me know if you are interested in joining my apartment hunt! I am happy to Skype with anyone interested! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me or email me at liana.gheorma@unc.edu Thanks, Liana

I have a property and need a roommate.

My current roommate is leaving North Carolina to attend graduate school so I am in need of a new roommate. I currently live in Alta Springs in a 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom apartment and my current lease ends on June 30. The rent and all of the utilities comes out to around $750 per person, which is a great price considering the quality of the apartment in addition to the amenities which include a nice gym and a great pool area. I am also a big fan of the location of my apartment as it is close to downtown Chapel Hill and a short drive to Durham as well as easy access to I-40. The apartment complex is also located very close to Meadowmont and the Friday Center. I am a young male professional (graduated in 2015), and I am looking for a roommate who likes to keep a clean and organized apartment as well as someone who has a similar sleep schedule to me (early to bed and early to rise). As mentioned earlier, my current lease ends on June 30 but I have to notify my apartment complex by the end of April regarding whether or not I have found a new roommate. Please reach out to me if you are interested. My email address is paulborda11@gmail.com.

I have a property and need a roommate.

I'm looking for a roommate for my 2-bedroom condo on East Franklin. I'm a female young professional, went to UNC for undergrad. I work fairly regular hours. The unit was just entirely renovated, with brand new washer/dryer and kitchen appliances, and new flooring. The available bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom. The location is very walkable if you like to be active or if you have a dog, near the Bolin Creek Trail, with access to Franklin Street, campus and shopping (Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Harris Teeter, Caribou, Walgreen's, etc.) and near a bus stop with access to 400, 405, CL, D, DX and F lines. All genders welcome. Looking for someone to start a lease August 15, 2017, but alternate move in dates could be negotiated. For more info contact me at mentwistle11@gmail.com

I need a roommate to find a property.

Hi, I am a second year biology PhD student seeking a male/female roommate. I maintain a regular weekday schedule, busy on campus during the day and go to bed early in the evenings. During weekends I like exploring downtown, hiking, beer and soccer. I am looking for a grad student/young professional who is respectful, understands the rigors of grad school and would like to experience fun adventures with a new friend. I'm looking for someone who is reasonably clean in common spaces. Ideally I would like to move into a 2 br/2bath apartment in one of the apartment complexes. I have done some preliminary research on the complexes to give us some momentum on our apartment search. If this sounds good to you, please contact me at jameyo@email.unc.edu. Thanks

I have a property and need a roommate.

This situation would be ideal for a grad student/young professional/undergrad looking to get away from the roommate world. I have thoroughly enjoyed living here for the past year because of the location and how nice and new the apartment is. The apartment is 600 sf and is above where my landlord parks his car. He lives next door in the main house so it’s been nice to have a local landlord. It is relatively new construction as the garage and the house are about 15 months old. Very rare for a block and a half from campus. It has a separate full bath and a good size closet, otherwise the space is open and you can put furniture in there as you see fit. The kitchenette with similarly new appliances is in that open area. Rent is $1200 per month and includes water. Pricey for sure, but it’s been worth it. Landlord requests a one month security deposit. Electricity and cable/internet is the tenant’s responsibility. Electric has probably averaged about $70-75 per month. Nothing runs on natural gas. You get a dedicated parking space very close to the apartment. Should you decide to come by and look, it will be clear to you how the parking works and how it’s convenient for you, the landlord, and the other tenants that he has nearby. It’s a really cool setup. My lease has another year+ to go. I can definitely vacate the apartment as of July 1. I might be able to move out a month early if that was something you wanted. Depends on what me and my future roommate end up doing with move in to our next place. The one negative is that it doesn’t have a washer/dryer hookup. However there is a laundry at the bottom of the hill from me next to Root Cellar that is convenient. If this meets your budget and you want to take a look, let me know and we will work on some times for you to come by and take a look and meet my landlord. Thanks

I have a property and need a roommate.

I am a graduate student at UNC and am looking for a female student to sublet my room while I complete my clinicals in Charlotte. The room will be available from May 1st to July 31st, but exact dates are negotiable :). You would have the master bedroom and a private bath in a 2 bed/2 bath apartment shared with one other female. The apartment is in the Bridges at Chapel Hill apartment complex and includes a pool/grill area, tennis courts, fitness center, and clubhouse. Parking is free! The apartment complex is located in a really nice and quiet neighborhood in Carrboro. It is also on the J and D bus line, so you will have easy access to UNC's campus and UNC Hospitals. Rent is $555 per month plus utilities (usually around $100). I will be moving out permanently so you will need to provide your own bedroom furniture. Please let me know if you have any questions or are interested! I would be happy to meet with you in person if you would like as well!
